The Mobile Room (TMR) AIRSTREAM is a classic trailer that has been meticulously re-conditioned to retain its original and authentic look and function, whilst internally providing a fully re-designed and unique environment with the latest WiFi communications equipment, built-in heating and air-conditioning, charging points, fridge, audio equipment and coffee machine.
We ask that our customers treat this classic trailer with due care and respect.
On board provisions and equipment
The Mobile Room will be delivered with a range of refreshments:
- Nespresso™ coffee pods (various flavours & strengths inc decaf).
- Sugar sachets
- Semi-skimmed milk
The Mobile Room is also equipped with additional items that should remain in the Airstream and be returned in the condition found at the end of the hire period.

1. The Contract with The Mobile Room
When you sign the hire agreement you accept these terms and conditions and become liable for ensuring that they are observed and performed whether or not you will be using the Airstream. Please read these terms and conditons carefully. If there is anything you do not understand please ask us for clarification.
It is important that you read this privacy notice together with any other privacy notice or fair processing notice we may provide on specific occasions when we are collecting or processing personal data about you so that you are fully aware of how and why we are using your data. This privacy notice supplements the other notices and is not intended to override them.
This website is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.
2. Booking and deposit
2.1 A provisional booking will be accepted by The Mobile Room. This will secure the Airstream for you for the dates requested, subject to receiving a £500 deposit within 5 working days from the date booked. The deposit is refundable at the end of the rental period subject to the terms of clause 2.2, and any refund due will be paid within seven days of the collection date.
2.2 The Mobile Room reserves the right to withhold some or the entire deposit, and/or will bill the hirer for the additional cost of: a) replacing and/or repairing all internal or external damage b) all breakages c) charge for cleaning or removing stains, marks beyond acceptable levels of dirt commensurate with the rental period.
2.3 If the deposit is not received within 5 working days it will be presumed that the provisional booking is no longer required.
2.4 Deposits can be paid by cheque or bank transfer.
2.5 Upon receipt of the deposit, you will be sent confirmation of the date range for the booking, location address for delivery, and time when delivery and collection are scheduled.
2.6 The minimum hire period is one day.
2.7 The minimum age of the hirer should be 18 years.
3. Rental charges
3.1 Rental charges are due SIX WEEKS prior to the start of the hire date.
3.2 If the balance is NOT received within this time frame, then The Mobile Room reserves the right to accept an alternative rental. Bookings taken with less than SIX weeks remaining can only be accepted if payment is made in full and received within 5 working days.
4. General booking conditions
4.1 The hirer must inform The Mobile Room within 2 hours of delivery of any defects, non-functioning equipment, damage or lack of cleanliness. Failure to do so may result in the hirer being responsible.
4.2 The hirer is responsible for the conduct of all persons using The Mobile Room.
4.3 The Mobile Room must not be left unattended and/or unlocked at any time.
4.4 The Mobile Room must be returned in the same condition as it was received, with the exception of dirt that would be expected commensurate with the purpose of the hire described, or the relevant elements of Clause 2 may be invoked.
4.5 The number of persons using The Mobile Room at any time must not exceed 15. We reserve the right to terminate the booking without notice and without refund of the hire fee, in case of a breach of this condition.
4.6 The Mobile Room reserves the right to refuse any booking without any obligation to give an explanation, and/or reserve the right to terminate any booking for whatever reason at their absolute discretion.
4.7 The Hirer acknowledges that TMR’s ability to provide the Services is dependent upon the full and timely co-operation of the Hirer (which the Hirer agrees to provide), as well as the accuracy and completeness of any information and data the Hirer provides to TMR. The Hirer shall provide TMR with access to, and use of, all personnel, information, data and documentation reasonably required by The Mobile Room for the performance by The Mobile Room of its obligations under this Agreement.
4.8 The Hirer (and the person signing this Agreement on behalf of the Hirer) warrants that it has the full power and authority on behalf of the Hirer to enter into and sign this Agreement so that this Agreement once signed will be binding on the Hirer.
4.9 No pets are allowed without prior agreement by The Mobile Room. Exceptions made for Guide/Assistance Dogs if agreed in advance with The Mobile Room.
4.10 Smoking is NOT permitted in The Mobile Room.
4.11 In the case of a maintenance problem, the hirer shall contact The Mobile Room for advice. The hirer MUST NOT attempt repairs, except with specific permission and guidance by The Mobile Room.
4.12 The hirer is responsible for making sure that any and all electrical equipment brought into The Mobile Room during the period of the rental is electrically sound and tested for safety.
4.13 The Mobile Room does not accept liability for any loss or damage to the hirer’s property and/or accidents, injuries, illness, diseases, arising from the hire of The Mobile Room, including acts of God or extreme weather conditions.
4.14 The hirer agrees to accept full responsibility for and to indemnify The Mobile Room against all claims made in respect of any theft, accident, loss or damage to any property brought into The Mobile Room by the hirer, the hirer’s guests or any other person(s) invited by the hirer, or not, during the period of the rental.
4.15 All property that has been brought into The Mobile Room by the hirer or any person during the period of the rental, must be removed prior to collection.
4.16 The Mobile Room reserves the right of access into the Airstream and the right to remove any person(s) from it for any reason.
4.17 It is the responsibility of the hirer to make sure that the person in charge of The Mobile Room on the day or throughout the rental period is made fully aware of these Terms and Conditions.
4.18 Under no circumstances may the hirer sub-rent The Mobile Room to a 3rd party, whether for financial gain or free of charge.
4.19 The internet connection is not guaranteed by TMR and will be wholly dependent on internet signal availability at the location of the rental.
5. Proposed Usage
5.1 The Mobile Room must only be used as described in the section ‘Describe Proposed Use of The Mobile Room’ in the booking form.
5.2 Specifically The Mobile Room must not be used for any activities involving gaming, betting or the sale of alcohol or drugs of any sort.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
6.1 In the event that the hirer wishes to cancel the rental, the hirer must confirm this in writing.
6.2 Refunds will be paid according to the proximity to the rental date that the written cancellation request is received, where the following terms will apply:
- 4-6 weeks of the scheduled commencement date of the rental, 80% refund will be paid.
- 2-4 weeks of the scheduled commencement date, 50% refund will be paid.
- Up to 2 weeks from the scheduled commencement date of the rental, 20% refund will be paid.
6.3 Under the circumstances of clause 2.2 deposits may be non-refundable at our sole discretion.
6.4 Once hiring has commenced only the deposit is refundable.
7. Dispute Resolution
7.1 If a dispute arises out of or in connection with this Agreement or the performance, validity or enforceability of it (Dispute) either party shall give to the other written notice of the Dispute, setting out its nature and full particulars (Dispute Notice), together with relevant supporting documentation.
7.2 The Mobile Room and the Hirer shall meet within 10 days of the sending of the Dispute Notice in good faith to resolve the Dispute.
7.3 If the parties are unable to resolve the Dispute in accordance with clause 6, either party may take such further steps as it considers appropriate to resolve the Dispute.
7.4 This clause shall not apply where the Dispute relates to outstanding payment by the Hirer.
